Nature vs Nature

Nature Vs Nurture: which determines human behavior. There is one thing that everyone is sure of. People are a product of their genes and their environment. The question that has stumped people is: how much of a person is their nature and how much is nurture? There has never been a clear answer to that question and thoughts on the subject are constantly changing. When a psychologist is asked how another person would react to a given situation the psychologist will always say it depends on the person. But why does it depend on the person and what exactly does that mean? It means that due to the person's genes and environment each person develops at their own pace both physically and emotionally. There is no way to predict how a person will "grow up" because each experience will change them emotionally. Everything we do, each choice that we make has an effect on who we are and who we will become. I am not going to argue about destiny and free will, but I will say that no matter if we have the power to decide our future, we are under the impression that our every-day decisions make an impact on what our path will be. Our paths will inevitably lead to the school buildings where we will undoubtedly spend some of our days. North America is noted for it's strict policy on education. The law says that we are to be in schools until we are 16 years old. Though there are some that will slide through the cracks unnoticed most will be forced to spend at least 9 years in school.
