Advertising, And The Effects Whether advertising a certain product in a commercial or in a magazine, advertising is one of the most marketable structures of today’s modern society. For example, during the super bowl, advertisers are charged up to two million dollars for a thirty second commercial. Trying not to alter the advertised product, most ads sometimes depict more of a fantasy being lived within the ad itself. Some ads want to make the readers feel as if they were missing out on whatever is portrayed in the ad.
