Reality is the quality or fact of being real. In The Matrix, Morpheus offers Neo a red pill or a blue pill. The blue pill reverts him to his conventional life. The red pill confers him the reality, with all of its consequences and rewards. He faces a hard choice that will transform his life for eternity. Everyone has a time that they have to choose to accept reality or deny it. If I were in a circumstance like that, I would choose the red pill. Plato’s Allegory of the Cave also contains many information about what is consider reality by people and what they would want to believe.
