Every individual in their professional life goes through a learning curve, where the slope is determined by, how quick one adapts to the challenges. I learnt my lessons quickly as I hit the roadblock very early in my career and treated this failure as an opportunity to improve. I wish to share this failure, the turning point of my professional career, from which I emerged, a totally changed person. I owe my successful career to this failure. Early in my career I started as Assistant Manager – Production. Equipped with in depth training from highly prestigious manufacturing management school, I was motivated and eager to apply my knowledge. My first assignment was a well-defined project of developing and implementing a new sample production line. I was thrilled and felt very important part of the organization, as the proposed sampling line was of very high importance from business standpoint.
