1. Safety Communication It is the supervisor’s responsibility to encourage good communication in the workplace. This will help everyone to understand how serious the dangers of an area can be and to be aware of other hazards is everyone’s job. 2. Safety Communication A supervisor must make his/her workers understand and believe that having a safe and healthy workplace is everyone’s responsibility. Seeing and reporting hazards or near accidents will improve the work environment for everyone. By communicating with others we will work together to prevent accidents and get rid of hazards. 3. Safety Training It is the supervisor’s responsibility to train his/her employees to identify hazards. An employee can't report a hazard if they can't find it. By training the employees on what to look for it make them aware of possible hazards. They will then recognize and report the hazards. 4. Safety Training It is the supervisor’s responsibility to train his/her employees on chemical and other hazards in their work areas. The supervisor must make sure they have proper P.P.E. for the work they are to perform. Make sure they understand how and who to use the personal protection equipment. 5. Safety Assessment It is important for the supervisor to do safety assessment to ensure the safety of his/her employees. It is the responsibility of the supervisor to provide a safe work environment for each employee. This includes making sure the equipment is safe. Also, the procedures and materials are being used safely. And that all safety equipment that is needed is provided. 6. Safety Assessment We know it is important for a supervisor to do a safety assessment.
