“Remember the Titans,” showed the struggle of a football team going through integration of blacks and whites at a public school. In this movie, it showed that blacks were segregated and were thought of as lesser beings because of the simple fact that they’re skin was a different color. Segregation was a huge part of our history ranging all the way back to the slavery days. Through the years, blacks were forced to have their own ways of doing things. For instance, they had their own drinking fountain, own restaurants, and after they even disallowed them to be educated, they had their own school.
