Tybalt, in the Nurse’s eyes, is a very honest, loyal, and trustworthy man. After informing Juliet of her cousin’s death, she speaks very highly of him showing that Tybalt was very loyal and honorable to his family. “O Tybalt, Tybalt, the best friend I had!/ O courteous Tybalt, honest gentleman,/ That ever I should live to see thee dead!” (Act Three, Scene Two, 61-63) When Tybalt sees Romeo, a Montague, at his uncle’s party he becomes enraged because he thinks that Romeo is there to cause trouble and to disrespect his family.
