LOVE, CREATIVITY, SELFLESS SERVICE, AND OURSELF

|
The world exists for a reason just as we have been placed on this world for a reason. To be true to ourselves, we must learn how to love for the right reasons, be creative with our lives, and provide selfless service to others. All three of these ideas can be found in spirituality and the various religions around the world. We do not need to belong to a religious order to be spiritual but we do need to practice “good” living to be true to ourselves. This truth, will in return, provide a meaning for our life. Good living and spirituality go hand in hand however; love is incorporated into the equation too. Love can fill our hearts with sounds of joy and in return, we can share this music with others that are around us. Love provides us with hope. This hope gives us the will to wake up every morning and live our lives in a spiritual or “good” manor. Love can also be harsh at times. The idea of harsh love is not in itself wrong but it can have a negative effect if not done properly. To let someone know of an impending disaster is one thing but helping them solve the disaster is another. It is ok to tell others that certain things are not spiritual as long as you offer them some choices to choose from. Tzu once stated, “Whoever criticizes others must have some alternative to offer them.
