WHY A GRADUATE DEGREE I have been thinking about a graduate degree since I came to America three years ago and realized that my first one, from the best Bulgarian university does not mean a great deal here. Having earned such a degree from an American University will give me the gratifying feeling of reaching my goal, but the true reason for me going back to school is to learn. I was fortunate not to have a true, dramatic immigrant start. Easy and quickly enough I found a prestigious and well-paid job with the company I used to work back home. Functioning in this environment has provided me with exceptional experience and wonderful foundation upon which to build. However, in order to advance in my career to a degree fully adequate to my abilities, I need the formal business training I presently lack.
