Each student supplied a blank disk onto which the instructor loaded the data tables to be analyzed for the project. Scales employed were general information about the JSU student, general questions about E-Mail and Internet usage, and perceptions of the GEM System. All nominal level demographic data was computed using frequency distributions. Demographic variables of interest consisted of the following: actor Analysis was employed to determine the importance of each question. Twenty-six questions were developed to get the JSU students' personal background and their level of knowledge on E-Mail and Internet usage.
