APPLICATION FOR ADMISSION College of Nursing - ESSAY Nursing is a very challenging career that allows you the opportunity to promote and maintain the health and well-being of our community. I enjoy being in a profession that helps people. While there are many different occupations that would allow me to help people, I feel that nursing is the one that I would be able to share my gift of caring for others most. Nursing would allow me to care for the “whole” of people- their physical needs as well as their mental and spiritual needs. Every human being does not have what it takes to provide such care, but I’ve been blessed with the ability to do so.
