Nature versus Nurture
Does nature have any important, long-term effects on the development of children? That was the question raised recently by most people¡¯s focuses. Many people claim that parents, namely the nature, exert great influence over their children, for good or evil. However, as far as I am able to judge, nature matter less than we think and nurture matter more. I define ¡°nurture¡± as meaning to take care of or to rear. Normally, the term is employed as a synonym for ¡°environment¡±, and it assumes that what influences children¡¯s development, apart from their genes, is the way their parents bring them up.
