What is the role of the four ways of knowing in human science?
The question rephrased would be: what are the four ways of knowing and what roles do they play in human science? There are four different ways of knowing in human sciences: languages, perception, reasoning, and emotion; though no true definition exists for any of those knowledge. Thus anyone can make their own definition through their information they have discovered. Languages can so be defined as being the basic way of human communication. An example, for instance, could be a school. Through the use of language, knowledge is taught to children and adults. Perception is the use of five or more human senses (such as to look, to feel, to smell, to hear, and to taste – which are universally accepted) for example a child playing with fire. Through the touching the fire, he feels pain. Reasoning is the understanding and use of different types of knowledge for someone’s own information. If, for example, the police have to solve a case of murder, they use reasoning in order to find the killer.
