Character Comparison between Odyssey and O Brother Where Art Thou
Did you know that the movie, “O Brother Where Art Thou” is based on Homer’s Odyssey? I didn’t know that until I watched the movie. There are many similarities and differences between the characters in the movie and in the book. There was a Cyclops in both the movie and the book. The Cyclops in the movie is a one-eyed Bible salesman named, Big Dan Teague. He lures them out to a remote location under the pretext of talking business, then proceeds to beat them with a tree branch.
