The story “Salvation” by Langston Hughes tells us about a twelve-year-old boy who didn’t understand the meaning of “salvation”. His aunt told him that the boy was sinner and that he had to come to Jesus. She also said that when he comes to Jesus, Langston is supposed to see a light, and then something happens to you inside. The boy expected to see it all in reality. He wanted to see Jesus coming physically. I think that it’s partially the church’s fault.
