“We are what we eat” The American proverb, “ you are what you eat” has been reminding us for decades the consequences of over-indulgence. We are the fattest nation that has ever existed though; we are people known to stuff ourselves to the point of combustion every time we masticate. Ethically speaking one can derive simple assumptions about people on accont of what people eat—the dichotomy of good and evil is easily spotted. Gardiner’s Cafeteria eaters are torn between this dichotomy.
