Victoria's 'Road Safety' Cameras
Regardless of whether you call the government's tactics as 'road safety' or 'revenue raising', the fact that these cameras are pulling in massive amounts of profits just goes to show that the Victorian Government have found a better way to increase profits and at the same time find an excuse for it. Cameras have been placed at strategically chosen locations, to catch motorists speeding through intersections; most of these intersections already have red light cameras.
