My proposal is that prostitution be made legal in the United States of America. Prostitution as a service: In order to consider prostitution as a payable and acceptable business in the United States, it must be considered a service, one such as a massage or a manicure, as like these other examples no emotional attachment is involved. If this is established, issues such as morality will no longer be of concern. Morality: Also, within the question of morality: morals can be defined as “sanctioned by or operative on one’s conscience or ethical judgment” from Webster’s Dictionary. The main point “one’s conscience or ethical judgment” means that each human being, including prostitutes of course, has his or her own morals. Therefore, if a prostitute chooses this profession, he or she is officially putting this profession before his or her own morals or including this in his or her own morals.
