It explores the extent to which human resources and their management can be sources of competitive advantage, analyses various models of strategic HRM in an international context, and evaluates the concepts of horizontal and vertical integration of HRM with respect to recruitment and selection, training and development, assessment and appraisal, reward management and employee relations in an international context.
