“Language is not an instrument that humans wield, but rather the very medium through which human identity, thought, and action emerge.” John Schilb Through dialogue we are able to see others as they see the world and themselves and how well we all comprehend or process thoughts. As we engage in conversation on basically any level we are placing ourselves in a learning mode. Even the smallest ideas echo who we are, how we feel and how we are affected by our thoughts and our choice of words. Verbal communication is our way of speaking to one another and identifying with one another.
