Major Hypothesis The purpose of the Disabled Students’ Program is to ensure that all students that have a disability have equal rights and access to educational opportunities. Students with learning disabilities have normal or better intelligence, but they have severe information processing deficits. These deficits make them perform poorly in one or more academic areas such as reading, writing, and math. Summary This article states different ways that may help in working with students who have learning disabilities and those who have head injuries.
