Guiltis defined as a person who has done thewrong thing, or in a criminal case, broken the law. Innocent is when the person has one nothing wrong, or hasn't broken the law. Innocent people are wrongfully proven guilty all the time. In a criminal court case the supect is innocent ntil porven guilty. The suspect is proven guilty by One court case that will look at all the evidence and the alibi's, and th emotons of the suspect, the judge will also consider the suspects history with crimes. Andy Dufresne, had one trial and was proven guilty, even thugh he really was innocent.
