Personality begins at birth. A mom can right away tell what kind of personality their babies will have; if the baby cries a lot she can easily tell that he will be a momma’s boy or a troublemaker that will never let her sleep. Uniforms will not allow students to express their personalities. For instance, freaks dress up mostly with black and chains, while preps dress up with slacks and dressy shirts. When uniforms are required nobody can tell the difference between a freak and a prep. Parochial and private schools have a long history of using school uniforms to project an atmosphere of uniformity, pride, loyalty, and equality among the student population. Most of the elementary schools, nowadays, require the students to wear uniforms. I oppose to this rule for the following reasons: Supposedly, uniforms will make everyone look alike, and that's a good start.
