Christmas is celebrated differently through out the world. I am going to compare Italy and Mexico’s tradition of Christmas. Mexico’s main celebration consists of reenactments that they call las posadas. It is done through a procession nine days before Christmas. They reenact Joseph and Mary’s original journey from Nazareth to Bethlehem, which took nine days to find a place to stay. How they portray the journey is by splitting up in to two groups, pilgrims and innkeepers. The pilgrims walk from house to house to find a place to stay.
