Recipe Analysis Mini Tuna Tartlets- The children that I taste tested thought these tartlets were a little bit too grown up for a children’s party.- Some of the ingredients such as celery are an acquired taste, and wouldn’t necessarily appeal to children.- Children prefer vegetables such as carrots and peppers so I could adapt the recipe, to include these to make the dish more colourful and more attractive to children.- I could experiment with using different pastry bases e.g. I could use different types of flour.- I could change the size of the tartlets; ranging from a large one, which you could cut slices from to small miniature finger bites.- I could use lime instead of lemon because some children find lemon too sharp- Mini tuna tartlets was the least popular of all the recipes proposed, probably because they were too grown up and the ingredients weren’t suitable for a children’s party.
