The Ford Motor Company is going on its hundredth year in 2003. A man named Henry Ford started this company on June 16, 1903. This man began his company with only twenty-eight thousand dollars in Detroit, Michigan. His first vehicle was named the Model-T, which came out in 1928, making the 1920’s the era of the T’s. Each car required about two hundred and fifty feet of lumber for only the body of the vehicle, which would ALWAYS end up black.
