Who Created Dictatorship in Russia? In the dictionary, a word dictatorship stands for a form of government in which the ruler is an absolute dictator not restricted by a constitution or laws or opposition.Vladmir Lenin was a leader of Bolshevik party in Russia. He led the 1917 Bolshevik takeover of the provisional government, which had governed Russia since the fall of czarist rule a few months earlier. After succeeding,Lenin set a goal towards socialism waiting until domestic and foreign conflicts were resolved before initiating most of his revolutionary economic policies.Lenin had two potential successor to be's,one of them was Stalin. During the years of 1922-1924, Stalin became a general and started gaining more and more support from people. Lenin seeing how Stalin abuses his power decides and leaves a clear statement to not give any more power to him ; Lenin was convinced that Stalin shouldn't succeed Lenin.Lenin however believed completely in Trotsky, his other successor to be. After Lenin's death caused by brain trauma in 1924,Stalin was firmly placing Lenin. After Lenin's death, Russia was in Stalin's hands. So the question is which of these two, Stalin and Lenin really created dictatorship in Russia? Lenin's quote recorded on a gramophone in 1919: "Today, the workers who have remained loyal to the cause of throwing off the yoke of capital call themselves Communists. All over the world the association of Communists is growing. In a number of countries Soviet power has already triumphed. Soon we shall see the victory of communism throughout the world; we shall see the foundation of the World Federative Republic of Soviets" Lenin who was still in Switzerland after the overthrow of Tsar, was mad to hear that Stalin was leading the Bolsheviks while the leader himself was in exile. But Lenin couldn't get across Germany who was still at war with Russia. Luckily for Lenin, Germany fearing of losing the war to Russia, knew the fact that Lenin was against the war and would, if he came to power, pull Russia out of the war. So the Germans provided Lenin and other 100 Bolsheviks with a special train to take them across Germany and to Russia.
