Baptism incorporates a person into the paschal mystery. By uniting ourselves to Christ through Baptism, we pass with Christ from death to new life. It makes us share in the New Testament Passover. In Baptism, we are reborn and we become adopted children of God and brother and sisters of Jesus. I t also makes us mediators of God’s grace for people. We become members of a royal priesthood.
