Natural orders
There are many theories from different philosophers and great thinkers of all times trying to come up with answers to the basic questions about the origins of orders on our mind and in life in general. Some said that we are born with innate ideas; others thought that cause and effect are the mind’s way of ordering reality (Kirby and Goodpaster, p.119). After years of research, nowadays it is known that our brain has areas where it can store data and where certain processes take place. This argument suggests that there are indeed innate structures. Our mind works through specific orders. There are four natural orders. First there is the topical order, which explains that most things in the universe have their natural place. Secondly, there is the analogical order, which is the power of the mind to acknowledge similarities.
