12 Angry Men
The movie “12 Angry Men” involves issue about the conscience and morals. The movie shows how different people have developed their consciences and you can see it through their actions in the movies. There were two juries that seemed to have the most developed consciences in the movie. The first was juror number 8 and the other was juror number 11. The reason juror number 8, played by Henry Fonda, seemed to show that he had a well developed consciences was in the first vote in the jury room he was the only person to vote not guilty. He then stated that he did not want to send the kid to the chair without talking about it. Henry Fonda believed that talking about the trial and the murder of the boy’s father may give him a reason to keep his vote the same or change it. Also, it showed that he did not just follow the crowd, he had his own opinion and views about the trial. Throughout the movies Fonda was open to listening to other people’s opinion. In the room he would not change his vote, because he thought there was some reasonable doubt.
