Thank you Ms. Clemens, Mr. Jackson, Mrs. Jones, and fellow classmates. This is the end of one of the many tribulations we have endured and the beginning of a new and more challenging one. It was difficult of course, but now that I have succeeded, I feel like a heavy burden has been lifted from off of my shoulders. Henri Frederic Amiel once said, “Conquering any difficulty always gives one a secret joy, for it means pushing back a boundary-line and adding to ones liberty.” This quote should apply to everyone receiving a diploma today because it really speaks the truth.
