A woman is brutally beaten often by her husband time and time again until the point where she just can’t take it anymore and she snaps. One day she kills the one that is making her life a living hell not thinking of the consequences. Frances, a young nurse, is sent to a maximum security prison for the murder of her abusive husband. In prison she has to work off her debt to society by being forced to do manual labor.
