Is it fair to make people do things that they do not want to do? Should people always be able to have an opinion about things that they desire not to do? In some cases, many would agree that everyone should have an opinion or a right to say what they do not or want to do. For example, in the myth called The Rape of Persephone, Persephone was forced by Zeus to marry his brother Hades, the god of the underworld, because Hades wanted a wife and someone to love. It was mandatory for Persephone to marry Hades despite the fact that she did not love him. She was ordered to spend four months every year down in Hades with the god of the underworld, Hades. Of course, Persephone had to obey because Zeus was a god.
