Science and Technology has had an incredible effect on the modern world. The Industrial Revolution brought with it improvements in agriculture, banking, trade, manufacturing, transportation, and living standards. People no longer believed that the world was a dormant place. Rather, society as a whole realized that technology was changing the world drastically everyday. However, this technology not only affected the physical world, but also led to changes in the way people thought about the world and life in general.
