sitting next to me in the bar, but the girl was kind of cute. I decided that I would go and ask her to come over to my place for a cocktail. She said it would be grand. I cannot stand that goddam word. It bugs the shit out of me. She was gorgeous so I let it slide. On the way over to my place I started to remember my goddam family. I wanted to clear them out of my mind but those phony bastards just stuck in there. I wondered how Phoebe was doing; after all I got her letter to go to the play she was performing in, and I really thought about going. Anyways, before Bell, the girl I took home from the bar, and I arrived at my hotel I had to mention to her how all the furniture in my house was once a person and how an evil witch cast a spell on them which turned them into furniture and household stuff. She thought I was a goddam madman after I told her that. Once we arrived at my hotel room, Bell heard the furniture talk and then she believed me.
