Essay- Racism Racism is like a disease that cannot be contained or eliminated. It appears in every community on every continent. The spread of racism is triggered by continuous intolerance in the society. Racial discrimination can be as simple as a playground joke to very serious crimes such as murder and rape. There are many reasons for racism, but they all narrow down to a few main points. The world has hundreds of different nationalities, each with its own tradition and uniqueness. When these races come together and live in a community, differences will occur. These disparities often lead to prejudice. Another factor that contributes to racism is religion. Many people believe religion should be separate from local and world politics, but somehow it creeps in.
